Advanced Restoration Corporation

Building Materials Reuse Association
The Building Materials Reuse Association (BMRA) is a 501 c3 non-profit educational and research organization whose mission is to facilitate building deconstruction and the reuse / recycling of recovered building materials.
Created for Charlotte County Florida as part of an innovative grant from Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Its mission is to inspire and support deconstruction and materials reuse. This website is a training vehicle to anyone interested in learning how they can reduce the impact of building materials solid waste in the landfills.
The purpose of this web site is to educate students, owners, developers, architects, engineers, builders, planners and other professionals in the building industry on how to utilize new and existing materials in the most ecological, economical, and social manner possible.
GreenGoat boosts building efficiency through conservation measures that lower disposal costs, increase energy efficiency, manage storm water runoff, and improve building performance. We offer specification language to architects, logistical advice and training to contractors, and cost-benefit reporting to the financial office. With rising energy costs, participants in the building industry can benefit from grant funding and positive press for a 'low-impact' development approach.
Home Resource is a non-profit building materials reuse center. We collect and sell re-usable building materials to reduce waste, build healthier communities, and promote a more vibrant and sustainable local economy.
RE-USE Consulting is trying to change the way we look at buildings that are scheduled to be altered or removed from a site. We view them as resources to be harvested instead of liabilities to be landfilled. RE-USE has clients from coast to coast who run reuse operations, are demolition contractors, and are building owners and architects looking for sustainable alternatives to demolition. RE-USE Consulting doesn't run a physical retail store, but has some materials listed on its website like an on-line store, and access to additional materials (doesn't hurt to ask). We partner up with stores, contractors, and building owners to SELL THEIR MATERIALS FOR THEM.

ReUse Long Island
ReUse Long Island is Long Island's one and only virtual material exchange website. Here you will find the latest news on material reuse, building deconstruction, and Long Island. ReUse Long Island is the Craigslist for the Long Island ReUse Community.
The ReUse People (TRP)
For over 15 years, architects, contractors and building owners have relied on The ReUse People (TRP) to keep reusable and recyclable building materials out of overburdened landfills. By de-constructing (instead of demolishing) a building, TRP is able to salvage up to 80 percent of the materials and channel them back into the marketplace through donations and sales at its network of retail outlets. These services are among the first steps in the green building process. Furthermore, tax-deductible donations of reusable materials to TRP, a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, provide a faster payback and better return-on-investment than any other product or service offered by the green building industry.
